THE WORLD

I've worked it out. The world is screwed. That's right, not stuffed up, not wrong, not heading in a slightly wrong general direction but seriously utterly screwed.

How can the world not be, when the USA is in a nuclear stand off with Iran, and its the 5th item on the news. And not even everyone knows about it. How can the world not be screwed when every 10th teenager is slitting their wrists? When at least a 5th of the world is suffering from depression? When it becomes the norm for young kids and teens to take drugs and to get drunk because its "their time of experimentation". And since when did it become ok for kids to makeout randomly, because they feel like it. Or for people to blow up buildings to make a point. For porn to be so wide spread and the viewing of it acceptable. For weapons of mass destruction to be used as threats, for one country to feel it can control the world. For politics to be so stuffed up, for murder and rape and theft and everything else to be a normal part of society.

This is not the world I want to grow up in. This is not the world I want my kids to live in. To not feel safe to walk in the streets. To worry about what you say and do, so you cant be sued. To feel so helpless and to not be able to do anything to change the world.

Sigh. Since when did 5 year olds need to see psychiatrists? And 10 year olds need to have a boyfriend/girlfriend? And teenagers needing to lose their virginity before their twenty, otherwise their uncool.

Since when were life situations made on the choice of being cool or not? You know, lets all get pissed once a month cause its fun. Even though alcohol is a poison. Its quite likely to stuff my liver up by the time I'm thirty. And to give me brain damage. But that doesn't matter. Because we had a good time.

Or lets slit our wrists and go around complaining that they are depressed because their friends hate them or their relationship broke up. Because there aren't people in this world who are worse off.

Then of course its cool to get stoned because everyone else it. Cause it wont permanently damage your brain. And it wont stop you from growing to your full potential.

And of course, the human psyche is the key to it all. Because everything is someone's fault. Because everything can be pinpointed to someone else. Because nothing happens for a reason anymore. Because nobody is willing to listen. Nobody wants to listen. Nobody cares anymore.

So what. I can sit here and bitch and complain and whine like other people. Say how its not fair, and never do anything about it. Well guess what. Watch out. Cause when I can, I'm going to do something about it, with a vengeance.

Well Until Next Time where I once again use my amazing brain powers to reveal something else completely unknown. Not....

SINGLE-SEX SCHOOLS

Well today I am going to be talking about the differences between single sex schools, and co-ed schools.

The Opposite Sex
Single-sex School: AHHHH! Its someone of the opposite sex! How are we supposed to act!! What are we supposed to do!! Quick, lets just say hi and then run away!!

Co-ed School: Opposite sex? What's that? Oh, right, you mean someone with balls/boobs!!!!

Boyfriends/Girlfriends
Single-sex School: "oh look, a hot guy/girl! Let's ask them out!" is the attitude of the majority of private schooled people. It doesn't matter that this means they will then sit on separate sides of the room and not look at each other, let alone talk.

Co-ed School:"hey look, a single person! Lets ask them out!!" is what most public school people would say. They would then proceed at the next party to get into a massive orgy and then never see each other again.

Manners
Single-sex School: Single-sex school people go to a private school, learn everything about manners and then never proceed to use them.

Co-ed School:Learn about manners the hard way, and then always use them, cause if you don't you get bashed.

Dress
Single-sex School: Single-sex school people dress in what they think is the fashion. In fact its what all of our younger siblings wear as hand-me-downs.

Co-ed School: Completely up there with the fashions, no matter how disgusting they are!!!

Personality
Single-sex School: Single-sex school people have no personality, because they are like drones that do what they are told when they are told. If they had personalities, single-sex schools would not have such good behavior and small amount of personality clashes.

Co-ed School: Co-ed school people have the biggest personalities, whether they are Goth, emo, punk, slut, or random!!!

In truth, co-ed school people are a lot more socially mature and understanding then single-sex school people are. All we can do is hope that one day, they will catch up.

PS: This is not true for all people, however the majority of people from each type of school is like that. Sorry to the people that aren't.

*SIGH*

Is it not sad the generation of today? Boys sitting inside playing computer games, or out getting drunk. 12 year old girls acting like their 17, dressing like sluts and going through 5 boyfriends in a matter of weeks.

Of course, this does not mean that all teenagers and children of today are like this. Sadly, the majority of them are. I mean, who wants to see 11 year old girls wearing mini skirts so short you can see their underwear, and makeup so heavy they can pass for 15 year olds, if only they were taller.

And who really wants to see guys with their pants halfway down their ass, or continuously feeling up their latest girlfriend?

In fact, why is it that all teenagers these days must have a girlfriend/boyfriend? Why is it that by year 5 the popular girls have had more boyfriends then they have fingers?

It's sickening. Children these days have no morals. Teenagers all over each other in public, doing god knows what in private, girls pregnant at 16, guys with permanent brain damage from drugs by the time their 20.

If only today's generation were a bit brighter, a bit more caring, a bit less horny, the future might be a good thing to look forward to. But at the moment, the futures looking pretty bleak. God help us all.

RACISM

Its time for a new focus. So today/tonight, I shall talk about racism.

When most people hear the word racist, they immediately think of the black Americans, the Asians, or whatever race is native to their country. Many people believe racism is one sided, that it is always the white people doing the others wrong. And a lot of the time, it is. The whites in America keeping the Negroes as slaves, and trying to get rid of all the Indians. The British trying to wipe out the Australian Aborigine's. The Mongols, under Genghis Khans rule, tried to take over China, Russia, Persia and more.

And of course, and the world is just so completely and utterly fair, the mistreated races have been given more money and help then anyone else. I mean, is it really fair for aborigine's, or people 1/32 Australian Aborigine, to get extra welfare and benefits for something that happened decades ago? Sure, our ancestors made a mistake. But why should we keep having to pay the price for it here, now? I mean, not all of them are poor. I know some white people who earn less and are worse off, and they don't get the same benefits.

And of course, there is always soooo many people complaing about how Hitler was very racist to the Jewish people.
Now, may I ask you a question? Racism is defined as

1.
The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others.
2. Discrimination or prejudice based on race.

While to be Jewish is
1. Of or relating to the Jews or their culture or religion

So, if that is the case, how can being cruel to the Jews be racist? Being Jewish is a religion, not a race. They need to invent a new word. Like Religist. Or Denominist. If you can think of a better word, please tell me.

(This blog is in no way meant to be racist towards any race OR religion. I am simply stating my view as I see fit. Please feel free to comment)

HELL

Hell. Such an interesting word. A place, as mentioned in the bible. A swear word, common in today's society. Here are a few different things relating to hell.

Anarchy in heaven, especially in hada, the lowest heaven, where angels torment one another. When an earthly tyrant dies, evil spirits seize his newborn spirit for vengeance's sake, and cast him into hell.

Hell

A place where you get poked with pitchforks by red men with horns and goatlegs and listen to the Village People sing for the rest of eternity.

Out of nowhere: In the Navy...

Hell is, according to many religious beliefs, a place or a state of painful suffering. The English word 'hell' comes from the Teutonic 'Hel', which originally meant "to cover" and later referred to the goddess of the Norse underworld, Helgardh. Compare Anglo-Saxon helan and Latin celare = "to hide".

Now that you understand what hell is, I think it is time you all did some serious thinking. Is hell real? Or is it just a made up concept by churches to scare people into doing the things they want? Can just people go to there? Why would they go there? Is hell really a dungeon like area filled with flames, red demons and pitchforks? Or is it something more complex?

THE GREEN MILE

For those of you who have ever seen the movie, or read the book, The Green Mile, you will know what a sad story and concept of life it is. For those of you who have unfortunately not seen nor read the story, here is a quick run down.

The story is from Boss Paul Edgecombe's point of view, a sad story about the miracle he saw during his job on the E Block, otherwise known as the Green Mile, the place where all those sentenced to death by electric chair are placed. Throughout the book, told as though Boss Edgecombe really was indeed writing from his nursing home at the age of 104, the miracles of the Negro John Coffey, like the drink only spelt differently, are thoroughly discussed, and the pain and hurt which continually ravages this world is truly discovered. How hard it must have been to have to kill someone, someone who is truly God's gift to the world, who can heal the sick and them near death, and who is definitely innocent and wrongly convicted.

"He kill them with they love. They love for each other. You see how it was? That's how it is every day, all over the worl'. That darkness and pain, that doesn't go away."

Anyone who has thinks they have the guts to see a movie, or read a book with so much gore, blood and open frankness, and a deep and meaningful concept, not to mention spellbinding and openly confronting of your beliefs towards religion, justice and humanity, then you should really try to read The Green Mile, by Stephen King.

And to end this rather depressing blog, I have picked yet another quote from the Green Mile. This part of the story is when John Coffey, sounds like the drink only spelt different, is telling Boss Edgecombe in his intelligent, yet not educated Southern drawl not to worry, that he will be glad not to be living for too much longer.

"I know you been worryin, but you ought to quit on it now. Because I want to go, boss. I'm rightly tired of the pain I hear and feel, boss. I'm tired of bein on the road, lonely as a robin in the rain. Not never havin no buddy to go on with or tell me where we's comin from or goin to or why. I'm tired of people bein ugly to each other. It feels like pieces of glass in my head. I'm tired of all the times I've wanted to help and couldn't. I'm tired of bein in the dark. Mostly it's the pain. There's too much. If I could end it, I would. But I can't.

Until next time. . .
